Economic Census Report - Paint and Coating Manufacturing: 2002
The economic census, conducted by the Census Bureau every 5 years (covering years ending in “2” and “7”), is the major source of facts about the structure and functioning of the nation’s economy.
This report provides considerably more detail about the industry than does the annual MA325F report, not only publishing data on the industry’s revenues and shipments, but also such things as total employment, manufacturing operations, payrolls, value added, inventories, etc. It also provides data, in many cases, on a state level (as opposed to aggregated national data).
