Dunn-Edwards has announced that its LEED® Gold-certified paint manufacturing facility will produce paint for third parties. These entities will include existing paint companies and private label brands. The 336,000 sq. ft. Phoenix, Ariz. facility will enable the company to offer services such as formulation and technical development, an end-to-end commercialization process, inventory and logistics services, and custom labeling.
Commenting on the increased efficiency of the new factory, Mark Alling, vice president of manufacturing for Dunn-Edwards said, "We have the flexibility to operate with customers' challenges, such as short lead times and small batches."
