Allnex, a global leader in industrial coating resins and additives, reaffirmed its commitment made previously to remove PFAS in its additives products by the end of 2024, announcing that it has achieved its target ahead of schedule.
According to its news release, the allnex’s program started over 18 months ago, has been working with global customers to design replacement and reformulation strategies.
“I would like to take the opportunity to thank our technical, commercial, project management teams and especially our customers for making this goal a reality,” says Tim Kittler, Global Marketing, Growth Platforms. “While we expect continued regulatory pressure on the use of PFAS containing materials it was important to us to be proactive and to do our part to remove them as soon as possible from the environment.”
Allnex has key positions in coating markets and beyond, across industries in mobility and transportation, construction and infrastructure, and packaging and consumer goods.
