The Bodo Möller Chemie Group is expanding its portfolio through a strategic partnership with Henkel Sonderhoff. Bodo Möller Chemie is distributing Sonderhoff formed-in-place foam gaskets technology (FIPFG) by Henkel Sonderhoff in 28 European countries, including Germany, Austria, France, and Switzerland.

The partnership between the two companies is centered on polyurethane- and silicone-based Sonderhoff 2K gasket foams, specifically developed for complex geometries, low tolerances, and a variety of industrial requirements. This technology with partially or fully automatic mixing and dosing machines allows the gasket seal foam to be applied directly and precisely onto the component surface. According to the companies, the result is flush-fit, seamless closed foam gaskets with optimum properties which meet strict requirements for protection against dust, moisture, chemicals, and environmental influences.

“Through this cooperative partnership, we not only consolidate our market position but also provide our clients with access to innovative system solutions which are precise, versatile, and sustainable,” said Frank Haug, Bodo Möller Chemie Group CEO. “The combination between Henkel’s leading FIPFG technology and our application expertise creates a significant added value for our partners in Europe.”
