Tesa Opens New Site in Vietnam

Tesa, an international manufacturer of adhesive tapes and self-adhesive solutions, has opened its new site in the Vietnamese port city of Haiphong. The new site is part of tesa's strategic orientation to regionalize production. Tesa states the new site is approximately 70,000 meters and has a production capacity of 40 million square meters of adhesive tape per year and, in its first phase, will employ about 130 employees, complementing the existing production site in Suzhou, China, which opened in 2005. ACTEGA Completes Consolidation of its Brazilian Sites

ACTEGA, a manufacturer of specialty coatings, inks, adhesives, sealants and compounds for the printing and packaging industries, has announced that the consolidation of its three Brazilian sites into a new 22,500-square-meter facility in Araçariguama, São Paulo, is now complete. AkzoNobel has invested in a new extension of the Yacht Paint Application Center (YPAC) located in Southampton, UK, which currently houses Awlgrip and International — two of AkzoNobel’s yacht brands — to provide new products, applications and techniques to professional and DIY applicators. Sherwin-Williams Board of Directors Elects Heidi Petz CEO

The Sherwin-Williams Company has announced that its Board of Directors has elected Heidi G. Petz to serve as the Company's next CEO, effective Jan. 1. Petz, who has served as president and chief operating officer of Sherwin-Williams for the past two years, will assume the CEO duties currently held by Chairman and CEO John G. Morikis.
