ACA Member Webinar: TSCA in the Workplace: Implications and Considerations

This free webinar will provide an update on U.S. EPA’s efforts under the 2016 Lautenberg Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) to determine if chemicals in the workplace present an “unreasonable risk.” Notably, EPA’s evaluation process is unlike those used by OSHA or others in industrial hygiene: if EPA determines an unreasonable risk is present, the agency will decide on the best methods to mitigate, or eliminate the risk. This webinar will focus on the workplace — though EPA’s risk evaluation process includes the entire chemical life cycle, from manufacturing to disposal— and is a great learning opportunity for all industry members, including those focused on plant safety, industrial hygiene, product stewardship and environmental engineering.
The webinar will be led by PPG’s global director, Advocacy Environmental Health and Safety & Product Stewardship, MaryAnn Hoff, MS, CIH, MPM.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing instructions for joining the webinar.
