H.B. Fuller Acquires ND Industries Inc.

H.B. Fuller Company has acquired ND Industries Inc., a provider of specialty adhesives and fastener locking and sealing solutions for automotive, electronics, aerospace, and other industries. Headquartered outside Detroit, Mich., ND Industries serves a global market with facilities in the United States and Asia, and pre-applied coating partners around the world, and generated approximately $70 million in revenue in fiscal 2023, per H.B. Fuller’s announcement.  H.B Fuller says the new business, which includes five U.S. locations and 300 employees, will operate within H.B. Fuller's existing Engineering Adhesives global business unit. WEG and Nexa Partner on Developing Anticorrosive Paints

WEG has partnered with Nexa, a producer of zinc, to develop anticorrosive paints with the addition of jarosite, a waste derived from zinc metallurgy. WEG says the solution will focus on carbon steel and cast-iron surfaces, with the capacity expected to provide protective effects, reducing the use of conventional raw materials, and promoting circular economy in the industry. OQ Chemicals Resumes Operations in Germany

OQ Chemicals has resumed operations at its German plants in Oberhausen and Marl after a recent disruption at a raw material supplier's synthesis gas plant that led to a declaration of force majeure for certain products. OQ Chemicals says that during the operational pause, it implemented enhancements to optimize production processes such as data flows and work processes across asset management, operations technology, and engineering.
